heres the prob,

im putting a panasonic CQ-DF401U radio into my 94 tercel. I know what all the wires mean, and how they should, in theory, be hooked together. I dont have a problem with the speakers.

The problem, i think, is in the switch...the grey wire in my car, when i connect it to the ACC, after connecting the battery and ground and speakers, i try to turn on the head unit(yeah, the car's on) and nothing happens.

i've tried re-wiring stuff, lost some fuses, getting frusterated, i'm not using the following wires and maybe it's a problem, u tell me:

-illumination
-some white w/green stipe thing, i dunno what it's for

please help me out, im 16, first car, first head unit install, thanks,
~Rich
