I have a Durabrand WD810 Car Stereo (CD,MP3,XM, etc) and I'm having a problem with it. (and, no, I can't return it.) The CD/MP3 player will not read any discs, but the radio is still functioning. I get the usual prompt that it is trying to read the CD and end up with Error 1. I own the manual, but their troubleshooting section is a joke. I've seen that others have encountered problems with Durabrand Car Audio, but is there any idea of a fix for this? |

I am having the same problem and have had no luck finding someone who knows a fix, besides returning it. |

Throw it away. You get what you pay for. Durabrand is absolute garbage. Just because it was a good buy doesn't mean it will last ;) The optical pickup probably went bad, and the repair itself is probably going to cost more than a new player. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent brand. |
