Ty Mutlow what comes in a HU install kit. Is it the proper connecter for the new deck and on the other side of that wires to be wired to the cars wires?? Thanx man!!!

the only thing that comes with that kit is just the kit( with pocket)if your car came with a Blaupaunkt radio, you need special antenna adapter and a volkswagon wiring harness(all sold seperate) and even with the regular radio, you may need special antenna adapter,

Hey Cory man do what i did go buy a cheap toggle switch, cut remote wire in half, get 1 half put to remote on amp and put other side of that wire to toggle switch, get other half of remote wire put to power on amp and other side to toggle switch, very easy just make sure u put ur switch where it doesnt touch n e thing medal to ur car.

you still need the wiring harness that connects your aftermarket radio harness to the cars harness, and an antenna adapter.

Ok ty i just got back from the stores and got both kits. I think i got the right ones. So a certain connecter plugs ur wires from ur car to any aftermarket HU? Looks like it came with like 4 different plugs on it. I hope my kit for resizing deck frame fits.... Ty or nypd-lapd, can you help me connect my kit with all the wires?? Thanx guyz...

Here comes a difficult one (i guess).
I have an Opel Corsa 1.2i Swing.
There are 2 wires for the power. These are black and brown. I'm not sure if these are the original wires but it seems like they are.
Can you tell me anything about these wires?

I have a 1984 Ford Ranger I'm trying to install a new head unit into, but not sure about wiring. I have:
a blue wire, looks new
orange
yellow with black dashes
blue with red stripe
thick black, antenna wire? (it has a connector on the end of it)
a bundle of: 2 black with white dashes,
orange with green dashes
white with green dashes

- Black w/ Red
- Pink w/ Blue

I assume they both are Power Antenna wires, is that right?

i hooked up my alpine 9813 about a year ago, and ever since then, my anntena hasn't been working, i've asked best buy circut city altimate electronics and auido express but they can't figure it out, i have a lexus SC300 and the HU is as i said a alpine 9813..

antena that goes up, i know its not broken because i uninstalled my old system then it stopped working. i don't know where to put the antena cord because there is no spot for it on the HU

sc300 antenna sounds like it is not getting power, make sure the power antenna lead from radio is hooked up to the correct wire in the harness, i can not find the diagram,

it does not matter what year, there are no klits and harness made for those cars, the wire has to be found in the harness that supplies power to the antenna and then needs to be tapped in with the power antenna from the radio...

I do not know you need a schematic for the wiring harness for that car..... and the radio has a power antenna wire, either solid blue on Alpine
