i have a few questions about the eclipse cd-8443 i got a rather good deal from a electronics shop but it did'nt come with a manual (or security disc?). i've powered it up and every thing works but i was just wondering if some one had info on a manual for this thing (bestbuy maybe?)

also there is a cord that comes out of the back side of this unit and is plugged into a small metal box with no writing on it i can't figure out wat it is any info on it would be helpful
