do all in-dash DVD players come with a brain? sorry for the question i am very new to the video side of this website. also, is an in-dash DVD player any harder to install than a regular head unit. anyopion will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

no what....they all dont come with brains? if not, how can you tell because all of the ones iv been reading about dont say anything about their brains.

Alpine, some pioneer, i think clarion come with brains, some older panasonics also, some of the cheaper brands do not come with brains. What ones were you looking at, and ones with brains takes a little longer to install, but not harder...

ok thanks. i was looking at alpine and pioneer. but i was a little curious as to how good the clarions were. have you had any experience with them? thanks alot for helping me out.
