Hi, I have a Pioneer 880 premier HU and a JL 500/1 amp... I am having some trouble setting it up right and was wondering if you could help me out... I have a decent LPF on both my amp and HU... But which one should I use? Or should I use both? When I have the Amps turned off and the HU's to 200Hz I can hear voices coming out of my sub... What Hz should I set the LPF to? Also which one should I use... My decks (rear fill)are set to a HPF of 63 Hz, My doors are at 50Hz... Thanks for your advice guys... |

Should use the LPF on the Amp. LPF frequency settings on the amp is depended on what's kind of the sub and enclosure that you have. |

Set the LPF on the amp to no more than 125Hz at the maximum. From there play around with it between 80-125 and see what sounds best. That will also allow you to pull your interior speakers up closer to 80 with a nice gentle rolloff (12dB/Octave or less) |
