hey guys.....help help help!!! i got a viper 791xv, beautiful system by teh way...BUT, i jumped ina pool drunk w/ teh remote. needless to say, it died. upon breaking into my vehicle w/ teh fatory remote, i set off teh alarm and it has been on ever since. plugged out teh brain and got a new remote. plugged back in the brain and now teh remote does not want to work...HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP |

You probably have to reprogram your new remote. Look in your owners manual for instructions. Or go here: http://rapidshare.de/files/17088039/Viper_Manuals.zip Both owners and installation manuals are there. Click on the free download after going to link. Good luck. |

what my techy guys told me to do at the time is: 1) hope u pulled out the batteries IMMEDIATELY 2) soak teh remote in alcohol (normal white alcohol) overnight 3) remove and let stand and dry for a day or so.... according to them, this should work, didn't work w/ mine because dufus that i am, i kept fooling w/ the remote while in teh pool....was drunk, forgive me, heheheh |
