is it possible for me to use my stock HU to run a 15" TI with either a JBL GTO 1201.1 or Orion 1200d unitl i save up some more $ to get a new HU. also what HUs do you guys like. i was thinking either Eclipse or Pioneer. thannks in advance |

get a Line Out Converter (LOC) for the stock unit. an aftermarked will make a huge difference over using a LOC. you'll get much better SQ and have a ton of options. Eclipse or Pioneer units are prob the best brands out there. Pioneer's top of the line (not including the P9 and digital processor) 880PRS is $333 shipped on ebay. i got one and i love it. not flashy, but is performs. also heard great reviews on the 7000 Eclipse unit. |

a LOC and run a remote lead from the fuse box with a switch to turn the amp on and off. where to get a LOC from?? i don't know, never looked for one before. i'm sure someone on here will know though. |
