Hey guys I have 2 10 inch neon rings for my subs, and I was wondering if I should install them or not. Would it just kill my amp, or could I do that and not be a problem? If I get anything what should I get to run the neons off of, will a capacitor help? Do you guys think the rings like pretty nice, or should I just get 1 12 inch neon and mount it on my box instead. Tell me what you think, thanks.

Are you asking if you can connect it to your amplifiers power source?

Yes, I bleieve I can do that, just making sure? Will this reck my amp, or drain my battery or anything. Will a capacitor help if I hook up neons to my amp? Or is there something else that I can get, do I even need anything or can I just run it right off of my amp? Tell me what you guys think, thanks.

As far as I can remember, a friend of mine hooked a neon to his amp and melted the wire for it. So Im not too sure, because personally, I have never done that before.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

You need to get 12v relay from Radio Shack or any electronics store for $5.
Attach the remote wire from HU to trigger the amp and the neon light. This way, the neon will only be on whenever the amp is on.
