I just noticed eclipse has new decks out....
I can get the CD3000 for $282 shipped...
any other competition for this price?

Depends what your looking for in terms of specs. If the 5V preouts or positive past experiance is leading you toward the Eclipse, then I'd say go for it, but there are other options in the price range. Here's a link to a few:

The 5V preouts are nice to have, especially if you're running subs and are planning on amping your speakers to make up for the fairly weak 14W RMS of the deck.
