The Sony cdx-gt705dx is not that great. And nearly all head units have 'dsp' ICs. The build quality of any Sony is a joke. |

jexx your totally wrong, even most top of the line head unit now days dont have dsp, you would have to buy it separately, im not saying its the best but it has quality and serious hdeq, people are just into common stereos like pioneer, kenwood, clarion, but pay some attention to sony and youl know |

i put a Pioneer Premier DEH-P480MP in a friend's car a couple days ago. it was $145 shipped on ebay. seems like a nice unit, but everything else in his car is stock, so i couldn't really test it out. |

I'm glad you're happy with your head unit but it leaves me wondering if you've even tried Pioneer, Clarion, Alpine, or even Panasonic. I've 'experienced' all of Sony's latest head units, and all I can say is they're just...unimpressive.

ok im not hating or anything jexx, people have their own opinion so i respect that, and yes iv tried panasonic and yes they are fantastic because of their sq9 and i know you know that, peace out |
