Thanks for the UPS tracking # you gave me yesterday as promised nate. Also thanks for talking to my installer and giving him more info on my HO alternator you built me. Im sure it will work out great. That 1/0 wire should be perfect for my car just to get the most out of it. I have the other 2 ground wires upgraded to 4 gauge which you said should be good. Thanks man

Charlie, you should talk to nate about pre-paying for an alternator.. I'm sure he'd cut you a deal on something if you ask about pre-paying (at least for a majority of the alternator).

For people doing the group buy, I suggest/recomend a 300a HO!! if u can afford it!!
The alternator is a absolute MONSTER!! Im running 5000rms/10,000 watts with it!!

The alternator generates AC but gets converted to DC by the regulator. I've seen some diagrams on by-passing it. When I get my 250A/300A alternator, I will seriously consider making one for my Mustang.
Just imagine, after a storm, when no one else in the neighbourhood has power, you can. Of course you will need to stock up on gas. |

Nate, i had my alternator installed and havent really put it to the test yet since im waiting on my Treo TSX 10's but install was very simple and direct bolt on replacement.

no they are not the same on an eclipse turbo to non turbo. I bought a HO alt for my non turbo and now have a turbo talon and I am going to buy a new one from nate in this group buy. Nate do you have 10 people on the list yet? |

If you can do that ^^^ here are my questions:
I have a 94 Saturn SC2 1.9l Twin cam and would be looking to get a 250 to 300 alt (depending on quotes) also red would be my color of choice please!
Also I am in Canada so I am not to sure if you ship out to Canada or not but if you do would you be able to incorporate the shipping price in with the total "quoted" amount.

Mike the price Nate quoted me said "shipped." So I'm guessing that includes shipping cost.

Hermaphedite, too bad for me eh, how do you figure? I have nothing against Nate but business is business. I've never dealt with Nate nor talked to him, alot of people reccomended me to his alts so I figured why not give them a shot. I am willing to spend around $400 or so, I loose nothing by buying elsewhere and customers shouldn't bend for businesses, other way around.
And I dont think I was "bugging" just being persistant if you give up so easily you'll go far in life! (very, very sarcastic)

If you can do that ^^^ here are my questions:
I have a 94 Saturn SC2 1.9l Twin cam and would be looking to get a 250 to 300 alt (depending on quotes) also red would be my color of choice please!
Also I am in Canada so I am not to sure if you ship out to Canada or not but if you do would you be able to incorporate the shipping price in with the total "quoted" amount.

How much does the 200 produce at ilde? and if it's not too much more money is a 250/300 possible? As I will be running quite alot of electronics and gear.

What do you have for a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Non-4wd 4.0L that is above 200-350 amps that won't require any alterations other than swapping cables
It's funny I got all the other components of my system yet I've been waiting almost a year on an alternator to put it in.lol |

I installed it today, and it took me like 30 min cause im slow... but there were only 3 bolts plus the pully. Very easy. |

Well I'm GLAD I got the HO alt....I have yet to install it; however, I cranked up my stereo and my rpms at around 25-35mph (55km's) dropped to about 500rpm's and my car damn near shut off! So cant wait to get the HO installed. |

Does anyone know where i can get wiring diagrams for my 2003 Dodge Durango...because i need to figure out what color wire go's from the ignition key to the stereo..because i need to hook up my remote turn on wire that comes from my new amplifier......and one more question....can i just splice into my rear speakers with speaker wire and then get a y connector with RCA's...and then just plug that into the RCA ports on the amp...or will that even work...anyone that can answer any of these questions for me it would be a great help....thanx |
