Ok, new thread here slightly off topic. This is aimed to the old school guys that have been around way before Net existed. What was your first high end car audio system? What did it consist of? Maybe a NAK TD-500? Yamaha YCA-350? Alpine 3319? or Kenwood KAC-8200?... Remember those old nasty Booster EQ's?

Check out my CDX-90 post and I have submitted some pics of a vintage GenI CD still operational! How many of you had a CD in your car in the late 80's? Yes I'm an old dude to u young guys.

First CD player was a kenwood, KDC 430 or something like that. I do not remember.

My favorite CD player was my Alpine 7992 or something like that. It was my first CD player with a remote (WOOT !!!).

I ve had Blaupunkt, Pioneer, Sony, Sanyo, and a few others, and a buttload of garbage no-name-brands (lol). I always wanted a Denon for some reason, but never bought one. Not sure why...

I m currently runnin a lower end CDA 9856 Alpine now, cuz I am financially less efficient, and I like it. Many guys frown upon Alpine especially as of lately, but IMHO I believe that some knuckleheads out there shouldn't be allowed to mess with technical stuff, especially the warranty frauds.
