I have a Kenwood X205 Cassette Tuner which is a Japanese Domestic Tuner. To use in the UK I would normally fix an FM expander to the aerial.

Question - Does the tuner in the head actually have the full FM range (hidden) and is it possible to modify either by solder iron or reset code input??

Has anyone successfully worked on Kenwood kit in this manner?
