I have a low pass and phase on my amp I cant seem to get them adjusted right and I have no clue what there purpose is.

Low pass cuts out the higher frequencies. for subs, usually start atound 80Hz and adjust from there.

phase is like switching the speaker wire leads around with a flip of a switch. depends on the set up as to which way will sound best.
