Has anyone found a bypass for this unit yet?? I know it is different from all the other AVIC units. |

yes i know what it is but i havent tried it.............when you turn on the car at the start up screen you flash the parking lights and that unlocks it for 48 hours....try it and let me know........ |

The current bypass that I am aware of is to turn the parking light on and off three times when the startup text shows on the screen. This only unlocks it until the unit is powered off, not for any number of hours. Each time the ignition is turned on, this must be performed to bypass the emergency brake. It is a real pain, and I can hardly wait for a better solution. |
