Hi everyone, i have a good head unit, door speakers and 6x9's in my car, and have a sub and amp waiting to be fitted. I could probably do it but i really need someone who knows what they are talking about to run through it for me as there is a chance i will get it wrong.. So if someone could tell me how to wire a sub and an amp to my sound system that would be much appreciated. Thanks |

My best advice is to watch this video: http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/learningcenter/car/amplifiers_movie.html That should get you started, additionally, I believe it emphasizes running wires on opposite sides of the car-it really doesn't matter from my experience. As far as wiring the sub to your amp, we'll need model numbers for both pieces of equipment as well as the voice coil configuration for the subwoofer. |
