Hey, I wanna build my own crossovers. Wanna know how to get started. I know i'm gonna need capacitors, inductors, and resistors. But when, where, and how is what I want to know. Wanted to know if you could help me, or had a tutorial somewhere.

Also where can I find capacitors and inductors? I saw a site somewhere before either digikey or somewhere else, but didn't know what type or what voltage and all that good stuff.

I was using a calculator on the12volt.com to get my values and slopes but didn't know what kind of capacitor to get and what all the exact specs needed to be.

It would be awesome if you could inform me some more. Thanks!

the12volt.com has the diagrams and charts for first through third order filters, and zobels.
PAC Audio sells the components.
you wait air-core coils and mylar non-polarized caps. 1% tolerance if you can find them.

www.passivecrossovers.com - Information
www.partsexpress.com - Type crossover in the box and it'll bring you to the crossover section of the site. There's information and products there.
