able to put out 400/1 and fit into a space nine inches high and 15 inches wide....depth isnt an issue, anyone got any suggestions on what would fit? |

that would be perfect, except that 10.6 inches tall is slightly bigger than what i have to work with. still i appreciate the reply. to try to put this in perspective, this amp is for a box built to sit on a pallet jack that needs to be hooked to a converter, i have exactly 10 inches in height underneath the head unit to mount the amp next to the AC/DC converter. i have 14-18 inches of width to use next to the converter on the back of the box. |

The most compact amps on the market are the new PDX series amps by alpine. You can see pictures of them on Crutchfield's website. They supposedly go on sale early next month. These amps are designed to be stacked so you need zero clearance around the sides. |

if depth is not an issue, you can turn an amp sideways......and the JL 250/1 is a nice amp, i have it on a 12w3 and the gain is turned way down on it. |
