What are the advantages of wiring 4 6x9 4ohm into a single channel. I wired 4 speakers so far, I have a 1000x4 amp so each speaker sees @35 watts rms. I plan to do this to all 4 channels on two amps for a total of 32 6x9's The resulting draw on the amp is at 4 ohms per channel, so it is in spec. Does anyone see a flaw with this idea?

nothing really, you'll just have 4 6X9's playing the same stuff at the same time per channel. but how are you wireing each set of 6X9's?? i don't think your suppose to wire drivers in series.

spounds like a big waste if you ask me.
