Im having trouble with this amp here

The protection light keeps coming on. i have it wired putting out a 2 ohm load to a performance teknique 12in 4ohm dvc 1000 watt sub. it will play at a very low volume but if you turn it up it will cut out very quickly. can anybody give me any advice???? |

Ok, i think the problem was my ground. I've switched it around about 3 times and my stereo has played stronger each time. where would the ideal place be for me to ground my amp? do i need to scuff the paint off where i hook my ground to so it will conduct better? and will a good ground effect the ohm load my amp can handle in any way because it says its stable at 2ohms but it go's into protection when i wire it that way. |
