hey rovin i noticed you have the 60.7 CS components im pretty sure. and those are 90watts @ 2ohms and you have a Alpine F545 amp which @ 2 ohms puts out 150watts. do i have this right?? are you overpowering those speaks by 60 watts? i'm just wondering what those speakers can take because i might get some for my brother. let me know thanks. |

i own this model http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15348 its rated @ 4ohms if i'm not mistaken & my alpine amp is rated @ RMS Power (at 12V,20Hz-200Hz) * Bridged 4 ohms : 300W x 1 (Ch-3/4) * Per channel into 2 ohms : 150W x 2 (Ch-3/4) * Per channel into 4 ohms : 100W x 4 RMS Power (at 14.4V,20Hz-200Hz) * Bridged 4 ohms : 125W x 1 (Ch-3/4), 500W x 1 (Ch-3/4) * Per channel into 2 ohms : 250W x 2 (Ch-3/4) so it powers them sufficiently Honestly these comps play all the highs/mids good but bass could be better , then again thats what subs r 4 . Good budget buy but ppl say those (& i must state that i never used any) Mb quart , JL, Boston Acoustics & Diamond comps r all pretty good too ..... |
