Hi, All i have $1900.00 and i am wanting to know what is the best system i could get with that. It will go in a 01 ford explorer. I would like it all to be the same brand name. Can someone help me? |

well, generally you won't get everything the same brand. some companies are better at one line of things than others
try..
Eclipse head unit
JL Audio XR series front and rear components
JL Audio amplifiers
JL Audio W6v2 series subs
knukonceptz.com power cable and interconnects
that's mostly the same company
and all great products

he has a budget. he'd be just as well off with two good subs, sufficient power, and good boxes

I suggest the CDTs for $149. The X-overs have an output for imaging tweaters which I bought also ($49.99). I had the JL XRs before my car was stolen 499.00. The CDTs are louder, but may lack a little in SQ; however, defenetly not $350 worth... In addition, the imaging tweaters are great. They bring the sound up to head level and bring great imaging for the $$$. Good luck,

CDT makes very good components. I was just sticking to his one company theme.
for that matter to save a bit of money without losing much, look at Clarion for a head unit, Kicker KX600.4 as a 4 channel amp for mids/highs, a Kicker KX1200.1 for subs, CDT for components front, and if desired, rear, and JL, MMATS, or Image Dynamics (ID) for some good subs.
won't be a themed system, but it'd be good SQ.
you could look at audiocontrol for signal processing/EQ stuff if desired as well.
as for SPL, no way to tell.

I have 3 12 inch jl audio w0 i am just wondering what is a good cheap amp that will make these sound good with alot of bass. And should i go wiht a ported or sealed box |
