need an amp to push my 2 12" kicker L7s. i'm planning to use 1 (2channel amp). each sub is 750 watts RMS (1500 peak power)

what voice coils do they have? (DVC 2ohm or DVC 4ohm?)

you will be better off w/ a class-d amp. (1 channel)

if they're DVC 2 ohms, some will disagree but you can buy lanzar optidrive that is 1900w rms at 1/2 ohm, and if you have the dual 4 ohm version then you can buy a ED nine 1 or hifonics bx1605 if you're on a budget

even if they are DVC 2ohm subs...you can get class-d amps that put out 1500w+ at 2ohms.

(ex: MTX, kicker)

thats gonna be expensive & draw more current

D class (MONO) amps r especially made to run subs .....

well then how would i connect the two amps for the subs.. would the RCAs go to one amp and they will be connected by some wire.. so something else..

if they are single 4ohms wire them in parallel and youll have a 20hm load so you will need a amp stable at 20hms
