Unless you spend a large amount of money then the answer is no. Nowadays, in some areas, cops use a pop gun meaning it is never on until they actually clock u. by the time ur radar detects it then they have done got you... |

Anything that JAMS radar is illegal. You can jam laser though. You'll be spending 500+. |

Anything that JAMS radar is illegal. You can jam laser though. 'TO EVERYBODY THIS IS WRONG' DEPENDS ON YOUR STATE AND THERE ARE VERY FEW THAT A JAMMER IS ILLEGAL IN. |

even if u jam their radar or laser, the cops will know your speeding and will pull you over and tell you they clocked you at whatever speed they want and write you a ticket for it. I've been pulled over by a cop that was sitting in a parking lot and he said he could tell i was going 50 in a 30. He let me go with a warning because he saw some kids smoking pot lol |

I have been using a RMR 8RDS for several years. No tickets no slamming on the brakes and speeding with impunity. Including 2 years in VA where everything is illegal. It is excellent. You have to use a tiny bit of common sense. If you are the only one on the road, turn it off and go the speed limit. But with traffic you will never get caught. I went down 287 in tandem with another S2000 at 100 mph for 25 miles and even passed a cop on the side of the road. He could do nothing. No reading and no way to get on the road with causing a 50 car accident. I drove from Richmond VA to Modesto CA. Left on Tuesday a 9:00 am arrived at 10:30 PM Thursday with two stops for sleep, 3850 miles. It completely passive, no emissions at all. There is no other system that I would use. I Valentine's Escorts etc, detectors make driving hectic. The RMR 8RDS makes it hassle free. |
