I have the Alpine Type-S SPS-171A Components running from my Alpine CDA-9851 deck. I don’t like how Im getting so much bass in my 6.5 speakers, is there a setting in my crossover that can help with this? I dont want to turn the bass on my head down too low cause my subs dont sound as tight!

set the HPF for the alpines @ 150Hz, 12dB slope
set the subs at 80Hz or lower, at 18dB slope
that should fix both problems
