My brother rewired his headunit and the ground and constant 12 volt wire touched.. but the wireharness was not connected to the H/U.Now the H/U does not turn on. what do i do to make it turn on?? |

Check the fuses before doing anything else. If they are all fine, you probably need to hook up the ignition wire as well to the head unit. |

Check every fuse on the main fuse panel, specifically the radio fuse. |

all the fuses are good i think it is the ground wire because the Ground TOUCHED THE +12 VOLT |

try running another ground or +12 and see. or use a meter to figure it out. no other way to tell. that should have just blew a fuse though. i have 2 fuse boxes in my car, one in the car and one under the hood. sure you don't have more someplace else?? |
