I own the Alpine CDA-7864. I have had it for well over five years now and never had a problem until today. When I'm listening to the radio the amp and sub work fine, but when I go to the cd player it shuts the amp off? Any Ideas?

sounds like you have the amps hooked to the Ant lead rather then the REM lead. the Ant lead is only hot when you have the radio on, and its dead when you turn the radio off to something else.

but if its been working fine before, idk if thats the problem. not really sure why it would do that unless you burned up the REM output.
