i want to get a decent alarm but dont have much of an idea on where to mount it or what wires to connect and sh1t....anyone got any tips

www.the12volt.com , learn everything you have to use first. then use their database to find whatever, then use a DMM to test everything. and everything else is explained there or in your install manual on your alarm.
