okay my cd player http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027442&pathId=54&page=1 is making a really fast humming noise and there is a cd in it. I am pretty sure that it is the cd spinning in there but it won't play the cd or anything and I just wanted to know if there is anything that I can do.

did you try cutting off all of the power supply to it and then hooking it back up and try ejecting it. If it doesn't have the emergency eject thing then go with the paper clip idea.
