I have this Blaupunkt IVDM-7002 in-dash DVD receiver w/7" monitor. I just bought this item recently and installed it and everything worked great. Now the bad part about it, a couple days ago i was driving around listening to my music and all of a sudden i didnt hear anymore sound and i heard something like a sizzling sound, but the dvd player was still on and worked but no sound at all. I guess I must have hooked up a wire wrong and den i smelt something funny coming from the hideaway box it came with where all the wires connect too. I must have ruin the hideaway box somehow becuase the fan wont turn on. Can u guys plz tell me wats wrong thank u

Hmm..

The only thing that I can say about that is go behind your deck and find out if there are any " loose wires " ...

OR

Go in the hideaway box and see if a wire is touching another wire, or touching something it isn't suppose to!
