OK I run a Compustar 2W8000FMR(3000) and when you buy extras for the alarm (sirens, shock sensor, proximity...etc) can they be from any company?
THe reason being is my local store (Canada) wants to charge me $45 for a siren, $45 for a shock sensor...etc and I can buy them off ebay for less than $20 shipped.....I am also looking at a proximity sensor.
ALso does anyone on here use PIEZO alarms? I bought on for $14 and was just wondering how effective..or painfull...that they are.

the other sensors and alarms should work fine as long as they have simular ratings. the connectors on your alarm will be different though. if you can figure out which wire goes to what then you should be okay |
