hey i was wondering if anyone out here could help me out?? i got a 94 lincon town car and im trying to fix it up! im trying to put in a cd player and some subs (i know how to do that) but my car has a built in amp to it already that powers my 6x9's and my other speakers and i dont know if i can power my big amp to it or take all that out and rewire everything!!! ha ha so some one please help me!! |

best thing to do is rewire it and get rid of that factory amp. |

so their is no way i can just keep the amp i mean its little and not really that powerfull but i dont want to go to through the whole hassel or wireing that stuff... do u think if i sent it to get the cdplayer put in they would rewire everthing for me? ha sorry dont really know much stuff but thanks John |

they would, but they would charge you an arm and a leg for that, lol. i don't know how the connectons are to tell you if you can change the HU and still use that amp. mainly the signal connections. typically RCA's are used in aftermarket HU and Amps, but stock usually uses High Level connections. i don't know enough about them to tell you. |
