I am in the market for a good deck! I want a deck that won't skip under extreme two 13w7's with two 1000/1's bass tones. I have always liked the way alpine decks looked, but I want to know if there is a better deck for $450.00. I am open to sugestions, I just want quality.

Recent head unit's anti-skip protection has developed so far you won't have to worry about the bass making the CD skip in any head unit...so that brings this question: What are you looking for in a head unit?
