I've read a few posts here where people ask similar questions but we'll ask again and a slightly more advanced question as well. Can I find some conversion cable or make my own to run from the MBus cable coming from my Honda "Alpine Brand" 6 disc changer to my Kenwood X569 with 13 pin aux in? Currently This changer is hooked to the OEM tuner/cassette/changer control head unit in my 1999 Honda Accord. The 9 pin MBus has connect to my oem head unit via a 14 pin connector (HONIL)->( http://peripheralelectronics.com/web/cd_changer/acura_honda.asp), and I've found a 13 pin connector end for sale->(http://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/product.php?productid=2059&cat=292&page=1). Why can't I attempt to splice that 13 pin connector that will fit my X569 onto the end of the stock cable where the 14 pin honda connector was?

Any thoughts are welcome!
