Should i get a cross over for my system i got two alpine type r's and a monoblock kenwood amp and i have my factory radio. would a crossover harm the subs or would it benifit. My cousin bought one and it made his system two times louder.

your mono block should have a x-over built into it. Are you going to keep the stock head unit and run a LOC or get a new cd player?

whats the model # of your amp? it prob says LPF(low pass filter)
