Hey guys, i have just purchased a Blaupunkt GTA 470 (4/3/2 Channel) I have also got 2 sets or pioneer speakers on order. I will have one speaker per channel. Is there anyway i could add a sub into this? |

you can run the 4 pioneer speakers to the front 2 channel's at 2 ohms for 100x2 and the sub bridged to the rear 2 channel's but get a sub that is dual 4 ohm or single 2 ohm and run it at 200 watts. This will work fine but the only thing is you lose the ability to fade your speakers from front to rear. Another option is to run your fronts off the amp and your rears off your Head unit then the sub bridged same as above. That way you wont lose your fading option. |

For a single sub with a pair of bridged channels you'd want an SVC4 or DVC2. |

if it runs 200x2 @ 2ohms wire 2 chan in mono to the sub( for a 200 watt output) and use the front 2 chan and wire either all 4 speakers for a 2ohm load at 50/speaker or the other way I said. you will need a dual 4ohm sub or a single 2 ohm sub! |

you should start your own thread next time but because your amp is only 100 watts bridgeable to 4ohms you can't run both those subs mono. If the amp were stable at 2 ohms mono that would be fine but 2 4ohm coils in parelell/parellell will yield a 2ohm load. You should also think about a little more power, a mono amp that puts out 500 watts at 2ohms woould be ideal. |

The amp's 200w bridged at 4 OHMS. OP said "A sub. A sub would need to be svc 4 or dvc2 to net 4 ohms. |

my bad man I have no idea why I thought it was 200x2 at 2ohms. I went back to try and figure it out but I have absolutely no idea where I got that form. |

thats where I got it form.
those specs for the max ratings make no sense at all. 2x400 @ 4ohms and 2x200 @ 2 ohms? I know it doesnt matter because it is max ratings but they are backwards.
