im going to be running an A800T to 2 kicker cvr 12's @ 800rmsx1@2ohms, and a pioneer gm 2 channel amp 65rmsx2@4ohms for my rear speakers, so with those two amps plus a head unit running another set of speakers how big of an alternator upgrade should i get, its for a 1987 s10, and roughly how much would it cost? thanks in advance (if neone knows of somewhere around Niagara Falls Ont to get one plz let me know) |

it would help to know for sure what size your current alt is. If it's the chevy standard 105A it should be plenty to run that system. The smallest size I could find as a replacement part for that truck is 85A, which may still be enough. |
