how do you go about hooking up 2 amps do you need a capacitor?

most likely and you usually use a distribution block, and some amps have a line out pass through if running 2 sub amps, or use the 3 rcas on back of radio if it has them.

So if I get an amp with a pass through how would I rate the size wire needed? Do you just add total watts and go for a wiring package that fits? And are you supposed to set the wire fuse to the same as the total fuse ratings of the amps?
