how bad is it to rin the power wire with the rca cables? i got the rca cabls and the remore wires on the door frame adn woudl it be okay to run the power wire on the out side of that under the carpet nexto to rca cabls.when it gets to the back part of the car the power cabls and rca cabls will be coming out of the same spot. |

Best bet, run on opposite sides of car. |

crap i only have 17 ft of wire i cant run it on teh opp side of the car best i can do is mabe down the middle.the emf on the wire cant be that big..i dout it is comes out more then 1 1/2 inches in each direction of the wire. |

run the power wire on whatever side is easiest, remote and RCA's can go down the middle. |

If you're going to do the install, do it right. If not, you'll get the annoying "alternator" noise. 17' of rca cable is plenty, even for a van. |

i am talking 17ft of power not rca cable adn i already tryed to run it on the opp side its way to short so its going to have to go down the middle some how adn ill be lucky if it will work then because of all the little room inbetween everything.unless i take it all back out and run teh rca cabls down the middle because they are alot smaller and the power wire on the side.

different quick question (but Zulkir can benefit as well): what if, in the trunk, the power, ground, and speaker wires end up criss crossing over one another (basically touching)? Bad? no biggie? thanks, everyone. |
