Thread: DVD player stops working after half hour or later |

I have a Cinevision DVP650 DVD player connected to old TV via RF Modulator. DVD has a VCR stacked on top of it. We use it to play DVDs and more often, VCDs. Lately, it initially works ok but after playing a VCD for half hour or more, it stops working--the video signal to TV is broken and sometimes you might get a signal again or not. When you get a signal, the video plays a bit then lose signal again, etc. Haven't tested with DVD yet though.
Guess I might as well get a new player but I wonder what might be wrong with it. I assume something goes haywire once it overheats or something? Be nice if somebody can give me some feedback on this. |
