I have an after market radio and a good marine tune trapper antenna and I removed my stock one and got the new one and it didn't improve my reception. I think it needs to be grounded because when I touch the factory stock antenna screw-in part it sounds good. How can I ground it with my radio or can i strip the wire and ground the exposed wire. What should I do.
