I currrently have a d4 idmax v3 that i am looking to power. I would like to know the big difference between JL slash series and the e' series(i no that the slsh can be ran from 1.5-4ohm). If i ran the e1800 into 2 ohms i will be able to get 800-1000 out of it. So, basically i do not see a need ion spending the extra 200-300 on amp that puts out about the same.

The e series are great amplifiers if you don't want to spend the dough on the slash amps. They aren't quite as clean, but more than sufficient.
