i've got 2 mtx 9500's. the only problem is that one is a DVC and the other is a SVC. everyone has told me that i'd have to buy two seperate amps. so my idea was to buy a hifonics brutus 1605 for the DVC(1100 watts @ 2ohms). and a hifonics zeus 1000 (1000 watts @ 4ohms bridged).

i know they're different wattage, but that won't be a problem. will they sound any different due to being two different kind of amps???

i wouldn't think having 1 DVC and 1 SVC sub wired together wouldn't work. as long as you can wire them within the parameters of and amp you want to use. i'd think you would have more problems using thoes two different amps then just using one.
i could be wrong though

well you could wire them to the same amp if one is 2ohmDVC but from the looks of things i think you got the duel 4 ohm version? if you had the duel 2ohm version just series the voice coils then parrallel the subs to reach a 2ohm load to get max power out of the amp!
