500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
750 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
1000 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm

does this mean that if my sub is 4 ohms it will only push 500 watts cause i have a 1000 watt sub that needs a 1000 watt amp but when i look at 1000 watt amps some say this and i am worried that it wont be enough if its not 1000 watts??? if your wondering its a Alpine Type X im trying to find out teh best amplifier for 2 alpine type X's 1000 Watts RMS @ 4 ohm

if you have a type x it is a dual 4 ohm sub, so if your amp is iohm stable your amp will push 750 max max to that , providing it has the correct voltage, what amp is it?
