Down to these to drive 2 10" JL 10W6v2's. Probably have to run it at 1 ohm. Theyr'e all within $80 of each other refurbed...so pick which you think would be best sound quality and reliability. All are at least 1000 watts rms @ 1 ohm. Directed Audio 1100D Directed Audio 1500D Orion 1200D Precision Power DCX 1000.1 Viper D1200.1 |

Orion is the best brand listed But IMO i'd pick the Precision Power DCX 1000.1 cause the orion's 1200wrms might be a bit risky for those subs which are rated @ 400wrms each .... |

Good point Rovin. OK, I'll also throw in a Orion xtr pro 1000. I can get one for $175. 6 years old but in excellent shape. 500w @ 2 ohm. 1000@ 1 ohm.

they are all made by dei. the build is comparable on all of them. not much difference at all. "i wouldnt get any of those. theyre all garbage. get an interfire amp." the IFH-2120 or 1000c maybe (still questionable to me). but the IFD600c only makes its power rating at 8% distortion. so, adequate power at 1-3% is out of the question. |

I'm also now throwing a JL Audio 500/1 into the mix. I hear that while being a bit underpowered for these subs...it may actually sound the best. |
