I have a kenwood (XXV-05V) in car DVD player which i havn't fitted yet and have a quick question.....if I didnt connect the brake sensor wire lead at all would the unit still work? i.e. is is completley compulsory to have this wire connected for the unit to turn on at all, or will it just think that the car is in motion and not play any dvd's (but still turn on)?

Any comments/help appreciated

It will not show video while the vehicle is in motion, has no effect on the radio playing or comming on at all.
