I have two 10" audiobahn subs (Dual Bandpass System) and are rated at 4 ohms. If I want a mono amp, can i wire to 2 ohms? Diagrams would be a big help. |

Are they 4 ohms SVC or 4 Ohms DVC...if you want to wire them both together an they are 4 ohms DVC then no you cant get them to present the amp with anything other then a 4 ohm load or a 1 ohm load ..... but if they are 4 ohms SVC then yes you can wire them together to present the amp with a 2 ohm load .... Link to the Woofer wiring Wizard http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard.asp?WoofQty=2+woofers&WoofImp =Dual+Voice+Coil+-+4+ohms+x+2&image.x=17&image.y=3 |

i understand that the pos. wire together and the neg. wire together to make a 2 ohm load, but how do they wire together and wire into the amp with one wire? |

most mono amps still have 4 outputs, 2 pos, 2 neg. Both the pos are actually like hte same input, so you could simply wire them normally, to the amp. pos to pos neg to neg. This would give you your 2 ohm load. |

Thanks. But since they have four outputs, does a single svc sub wire into just two outputs? |

Yes. You can use either output, or both, as they're technically both the same.. (picture like a distribution block)

I have a 15"inch audiobahn aw152T that is a 4 ohm load. I need to know if there is any way I can bring that one woofer to a 2ohm load.My amp is 2ohms at 500w. |
