what is the best amp that will power 2 subs to 1000 watts RMS (or anywhere around that range) and that will last for a longgg time |

it wasn't in any particular order at all. just my, and others', top 10 favorites.
but i would certainly not put audison ahead of a #4 spot. the 1st 3 are pretty much the true cream of the crop (brax being superior to helix), each being arguably worthy of a #1 position. they all go overboard to ensure great amps, regardless of model.
audison isn't on the same pedestal in italy as it is here in the states. the thesis is the real great, but they are all good models. just not as thorough as the top 3 (which just happened to be listed as such).
after that, i would argue that the remaining amps have identical/similar characteristics where integrity is concerned.
