so i have 2 pioneer 400rms watt TS-W306CDVC's in a pre made bandpass box im running a 1000 watt max pheonix digital amp. im new to all this and was wondering what amp would push these subs to their full potential cuz this amp isnt doin it. it goes into protect mode and wont come out sometimes. my cousin just gave me a 3000 watt class d legacy amp. but i keep reading the posts and see that legacy amps are a waste of money and im on about a 300 dollar budget lookin for a good amp to push these subs. any suggestions? |

Hifonics 1205BX is a good cheap amp for it around $200 |

It goes into protect probably because, is it bridged maybe. if so unbridge and run stereo. It can not handle a 1ohm load bridged. Then see how it sounds, really do not want to run much more then rms to those subs, especially in bandpass. it is made to sound louder with less power. |
